hello,
I have some 2N3019/2N4033 laying on the shelf.
Without considering case which transistors can I replace with ?

I would like to replace transistors in modern amps with these NOS. Usually you start from original to equivalent : here, it's reverse search ! A few circuits use them as original reference (JLH...) but I want to extend "circuits offer".
thanks
thanks
Any transistor matching specs,hello,

Case is irrelevant but probably somebody repairing vintage equipment would pay a premium price for "the original part".
I´d EBay and forget them, until somebody calls.
Or DIY swapmeet them, who knows?
We always see users asking for old obsolete parts.
Those would probably have been used as drivers in mid power amps.
You could made this one

2N3019 is noisier then PN2222A or 2SC945A
2N4039 is a MOSFET
Build something with them or sell them to a repair shop that maintains original specs when performing repairs.

You're right but I'm more in DIY spirit and reuse my toys 🙂probably somebody repairing vintage equipment would pay a premium price for "the original part".
thanks for this centralizing link
Typo error : 2N4033 complementary of 2N30192N4039 is a MOSFET.
I assimilited them to BD139 but utilizations seems to be more VAS then driver...
