I found a pair of speakers for $15 at the local Salvation Army. There is a sticker on the back that says:

The Fisher
95
Speaker System

The cabinets are about 2 feet tall, a foot wide, and a foot deep. They have a 2.75 inch tweeter, a 4 inch midrange, and a 9 inch woofer. (measurements are from the outer edges of the surrounds)

The woofer surrounds were intact when I bought them, but completely disintegrated when I brought them home and started using them.

Are these worth putting any time and money in to, either new drivers or new surrounds?

I think up through the early 70's fisher made good quality stuff. The fisher during the 80's was usually low-fi rack systems with cheap thin-walled cabinets.

If nothing else, they would be a pair of speakers you could practice putting new surrounds on.

post some images and someone may recognize them and give you better advice.
