I've just bought this 12" alnico speaker, needs some repairing (I have to change its center dome, and some wing fixing), and I don't really know it's power and speaker type and it's 15 ohms. Do anyone know it?

The dent in the dome shouldn't make any difference to the sound and can be carefully pulled out with some Blutack or a vacuum cleaner. Sorry no info on the driver.
It seems it's quite similar to this Vintage Amps Bulletin Board • View topic - ID Rola G12 (Celestion Alnico)
Looks like a good conteder-what do you actually need to know about the speaker and what do you need to repair?
Probably 20-50 watts.I just need to know its power handling. Wing/suspension (not the spider) fixing it's easy
Mmmm that's not helping me much, thanks anyway! I think it's more like 20-30W, like that Rola G12 Alnico... I wish it was 50w!
I'd agree that its probably rated ~30w. Likely to be useful as a guitar speaker, not so sure about HiFi...
The old speakers were rated in watts RMS, a 20 watt bass speaker can take around 200 watt peaks with dynamic music.Mmmm that's not helping me much, thanks anyway! I think it's more like 20-30W, like that Rola G12 Alnico... I wish it was 50w!
For full tilt boogie use 20 watts of amp per speaker will "hang in there", you would usually see 4 or 8 of this type of speaker on a 50-100 watt tube (valve) amp.
Having 4 of these could be great! But, with 16 ohms, I'll have to combine it with a 2x12 16 ohms, so, 8 ohms in parallel. My 30W tube amp project will be enough for what I want. Thanks to all!
