What makes a good candidate for retrofitting?
I have two sizes of overheads, and each has its bulb in different places. The Apollo AI2000 is more portable and has its bulb towards the front and reflecting off a mirror to shine the light upwards. The AI1000 is taller and has its light at the bottom and shines straight up. I have a Bell & Howell 3870 and Da-Lite/Porta Scribe G-100 have the same shape config.

can you fit a TV remote inside with you hand, were
the lamp was, horizontally - the HQI lamp is the
size of a hot dog - and the lamp holders are a inch
or so long - say 8 inch long, all of it - and the ballast
can be inside or out - what ever you have room for
