Hello everyone
I want your Advice and knowledge
About choice of resistors 🙂

I want to replace the resistors in the path of the OP AMP to

OHMITE- Little Demon CARBON RESISTOR
Anyone used them here
Benefits ?
Weaknesses ?
🙄

you should replace OP AMP first, that has far more impact
there maybe dozens of resistors inside the OP AMP
replacing one or two outside is of little benefit

I've already changed the OP AMP and capacutor
in a diy project on dvd denon 2900 audio crcuit
And have 14 resistors in the audio route I want to replace
And I can order components only from FARNELL
Of these resistors but I saw some good reviews
They are good in terms of component audio implementation ?

You should never use carbon resistors in audio circuits (unless you want a build-in white noise source). Carbon film/composition resistors are far noisier than metal film, with poor temperature and long-term stability. E

I have a problem I can order components only from FARNELL
There is a particular model of the resistors you recommend but still not too expensive price
I'm willing to spend on each Resistor 5 $

Honest opinion...

If you believe they will be an improvement, then what you hear after fitting them will appear be an improvement.

(When I first started out in electronics I remember replacing some carbon resistors with what were then 2% metal oxides from RS and telling my college lecturer what a difference they made. His reply was that it must be a mighty fine amplifier to be able to show any differences in resistors used. And it was mighty fine, a 5 transistor Lin based amp with AD149's as outputs. Years later I still "wondered" over such things and even replaced a select few resistors in my pride and joy which was a Pioneer A80. By now I now I was selective and replaced just the feedback and input resistors, swapping them for 0.1% Holcos. And it sounded better 🙂 And now, years later I learnt that certain component changes and tweaks can make a difference, but that resistors don't normally figure in that list)
