It's just a question of maximizing the usage of available space.
This is just one of the places where we store our cats when not in use.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

What about Cat Stevens?
Are you suggesting he was/is the seminal influence of this century?
Which of course is a moot point seeing he changed his name to Yusif Islam in the 20th Century...
Or
Answer2
Yes you are right , how could I omit this beacon for the feline cause?

Nowhere in any of these songs does it say anything about CATS, although there is mention of a rooster.

...so I guess that invalidates that argument, to a degree.
Well, naturally I'm sorry to hear the fate of the stylus. I blame the dogs. I've had cats for years and not had any accidents other than a wine glass flicked over by a cat's tail (red wine everywhere). My experience is that cats very quickly learn when you really mean you don't want them to do something. Mind you, I try not to put temptation in their way, so all my loudspeakers are cat-proofed. My previous cat (alas, no more) was very keen on music and would always come into the room shortly after music was put on. She would then position herself in the exact central spot on the sofa (preventing me from sitting there) and listen attentively. Somewhere, I have a photograph of her studying a Mullard data sheet.

I discovered the trick to keeping my two beloved house cats from scratching up the drivers and destroying the surrounds in my Ultor design which places the two 12" woofers right at the bottom near the floor, too low to provide a comfortable angle to stretch and claw against. They leave the grilles alone too on the first pair of Ultors which have removable clothed grilles. The 5 cu.ft. regular box speakers on the floor in my bedroom have grille cloth and the other cat just cannot be learned to not use it as a scratching post. The large male, the one in my previous picture leaves them alone but both cats totally destroyed the surrounds of two 15" woofers placed vertically one above the other in my previous large system because they were the right height zone for a good stretch, like they reach for a doorknob sometimes and then drop with dragging claws outstretched. If there is a open driver in the path, look out. Therefore don't place open drivers in inside doors below the doorknobs! Also probably not a good idea to put grille cloth on the bedroom door either 😀
The cat shown likes to grab the sweet spot on the couch when the music is turned on as well! I don't blame him. Tube amplification and super duper Ultor-X speakers.
