I Ferrite Beads or Lugs on the outputs instead of large coils or inductors ...?

Does'nt work with "normal" class-d amplifiers, inductance values required are several decades bigger. (and thus size) Maxim's solution drives loudspeaker with raw pwm signal and ferrite beads are there only to filter out RF-trash(something like 10MHz and upwards)

Thought it might be something like that = a simpler solution that may or may not be better. I also was aware that this would apply to Dallas / Maxim ONLY Class D amps ... so far.

Any thoughts on improvements to this scenario ... or is it the wrong road to take??

This has been discussed some before, scattered across several threads.

I think this could be done with many H-Bridge class-d, as long as the speaker leads are very short - or maybe shielded.

The question (apart from RFI) is what will the driver load do to the switching transistors? It something I been wanting to test with horn compression drivers.
