My last received email is from 27 feb. He said to ship shortly. But till now, nada response or sign of shipment.
Jokener...please give us some feedback...i know that a groupbuy with that dimension it's hard to manage...but damm...it's more hard to pay...and see the money goes without receive nothing....neither material neither a simple feedback.....
Just a quick heads-up - some of the parts for the O2 are in short supply at the moment.
Some of the components from Mouser, in particular one of the ICs and some of the specified capacitors and resistors, are on up to 16 weeks back order. Suitable alternatives are available, but may need to be ordered from other sources.
The B2 cases, in black and silver finishes, seem to be generally on back-order from european suppliers, with some due by the end of this month.
Now, I have nothing to do with this group buy, other than as a satisfied customer of Jokener's PCBs, but these shortages may explain the delays in delivery that some of you are experiencing.

Farnell is one of the companies that have the B2 black cases on back-order. This can take a while, and their quoted delivery dates aren't reliable - for example, I ordered 10 cases from them at the beginning of February, was told they were in stock, got 6, then another 2 a fortnight later and was promised the last 2 for last week - now they say that I won't get them until the 20th.
Now imagine the situation that Jokener is in - he's caught in the middle, trying to juggle the supply situation from various suppliers. I don't understand why he doesn't communicate better, but perhaps it's just that he has nothing new to report...

Finally I receive my kit yesterday, although my order in list is still red🙂
Everything looks good, he even added to kit PCB, I don't order and don't pay for, thanks Jokener!
However there is some problems with speed and comunication, I believe Jokener do his best in his situation.

Hi all,
First of all I have to say that Jokener did a damn good job so far, just the last couple of days he went fairly silent.
I have the same issue sourcing the enclosure, almost all suppliers are sold out or have redicioulous prices and from boxenclosures themselves I get very little feedback to my requests...
I now decided to aproach the problem from a different angle - I get a case custom made for the O2 including the panels drilled and silk screen applied. as goody a 3rd panel will be provided for the backside including a break out for the ODAC USB connector. I guess more than one person that built the O2 wants to get their hands on one of them
The company is currently producing the mold for the extrusion machine, so not long anymore. Only issue I have at the moment is that I will be on vacation for the whole of April (well not for me really but for the little store i am setting up)
Watch the commercial sector towards the end of the month ;-)

Just a short update (I will have more time to respond and take care of things on Friday, where I have day off to tend to the GB...):
Some of the orders I had already marked green in the last round of orders shipped have only been posted today.
This was because I expected to be able to visit the post office earlier, but they close at 6pm which I could not reach.
However, I have now posted them all WITH tracking, which should make sure they arrive on time and not after 6 weeks...
My inbox is currently full and I could not find more than a few unimportant messages to delete.

PCB's:
Yep. Simple as that. I have several hundred of them in black, a few dozen in the other colors.
The will remain in stock as I have a lead time of only 21 days and its unlikely anybody would buy all my remaining stock at once.
Cases:
I now have black and silver cases (B2 only) in stock, so those can be shipped within two days of any new order.
As I said, I will take care of the old orders before accepting new ones, but after that it should be smooth sailing.
(I'm buying from Farnell again and even though they are more expensive, they usually get here within 3 to 5 days from ordering, so I don't have to plan months ahead.)
I will try to order additional cases in all sizes and colors in April, so that you won't be limited to black and silver B2's for immediate availability.
Component kits:
I have just filled up my Mouser cart again and will order today.
After that I will have all the kits that have been ordered in 2012 plus some 20 kits for the future.
Transformers:
Even though I had stated a minimum order quantity in my first post for this GB, they have been ordered two weeks ago.
Current estimate for shipping of the transformers is on or shortly after March 23rd.
I have ordered 25 transformers even though there were not yet enough units ordered.
That way I should be able to ship all the orders with transformers by the end of the month.
Also, I will have a (limited) stock of the transformers and plan to keep it that way.
In addition to that, I have lots of solder/wick in stock, so those can be shipped as well.
So that is it for today, but I will stay on it this week and provide additional information as it becomes available or as I can do things.

It's very frustrating to know that I've been looking for a package marked shipped that wasn't. Please provide this tracking number.
