Sorry for beeing such a noob, but where's the description of the components and options for the group buy? The linked files only seem to be a list of group by members...
Click on the "BOM" (bill of materials) in the second sentence in the first post of this thread. (Or go to RocketScientists/NwAvGuy's blog for a lot more details.)where's the description of the components and options for the group buy?
Not sure what you mean by "options". You can order a kit (the parts to populate the PCB) and/or a case and/or a transformer and/or other items from Mouser that are not part of this group buy. For details regarding the case, the transformer and adding Mouser parts to your order, read this thread.

That's what I meant. 🙂
so jokener, are the listed prices final?
no more cost reduction due to volume order?
'cause then I'd finally pay now ^^

If we exceed 110 kits the price will go down 1€.
Thats all in the spreadsheet.
If you select the cell with the unit price at the top of the list, you can see where it comes from.
It is a function that derives the price from the quantity.
This corresponds with the price decrease shown in my first post.
(Of course this can only be seen in the 'numbers' and 'excel' links in my signature. That's why they are there.)
These prices are "final".
If parts need to be switched or exchanged due to problems, things may change.
If a single component is not available, I will talk to RocketScientist and we will fix it.
(Of course the kits will be compatible to the PCB that Ollie offers.)
Regards,
Jokener

I don't know if it's just me but using Microsoft Office 2010 the Excel spreadsheet is barely readable.
For example the red box is squeezing the embedded text, so that everything after the word "cancelled" can not be read.
But as no one else mentioned that, I really guess it's just me
I've been using the pdf document which, of course doesn't offer the if, when relations.
Now everything is perfectly clear though, so thanks for clarifying

Sorry about the Excel file.
It looks fine on the iPad that I used to build the spreadsheet.
Unfortunately I don't have a MS Office license to check/fix excel files.

I am interested in 1 kit.
- No transformer.
- No enclosure.
- No batteries or other stuff.
Cheers!

2 x DC Power Connectors PANEL MOUNT 163-4012-EX
2 x Voltage & Current References Precision Shunt Programmable 512-LM336Z5

@Firestorm: the kits are noted.
But the power supply is NOT a DC adapter.
Please read this thread and RocketScientists blog for more information, it's been discussed at length...
@all others: noted.

Morning Jokener,
Yes, I have read the articles, I have 16V AC (600mA) transformers.
I need the 2.1mm x 5mm plugs to match the DC power jack 163-7620E as noted in the BOM. Haven't found the part number though.
Thanks

OK... Sorry then... I didn't realize you actually meant PLUGS and not plugs. ^^
I'll put those down as extras.
All the people that went for an AC adapter are getting the plug by default.
If there is money left over in the end, I'll throw the plugs in for everybody...

Hey Jokener
What colours will be jack inputs/outputs? BOM lists as 2x light blue. Is it possible to get one green and one light blue instead.
STX-3120-5B-284C (light BLUE!)
STX-3120-5B-577C (green PC output color)
If it is not possible to change then just add one green to my list.
Thanks
