Well, I've been listening to this loop for over 20 minutes now...
Seems some Finnish folk song, except it's not really words but just sounds they're making. The juxtaposition with the silly animation is a nice bonus to the strangeness of this.

Love it. 😀
But I'm in the mood for weird stuff.
Here, spend some time with these freaks:

It only sounds strange because we are taught that music should be as soulless and unoriginal as that played on MTV--lamest artist wins.
Great Swedish band, Fläskkvarteten. Go to discography. Samples from each album.
They did the soundtrack on Tic Tac.
Another favorite, Deltahead.

I'm pretty sure there are words in the song. Let's hear it from the Finns on the forum.
Sorry, I quoted incorrectly. A Finnish guy I asked on IRC said there's no sensible lyrics to the song, and it's more for the sound.
Now you see what we have to deal with. First we have to beat them in hockey, then we can't understand them. 😀
At least they will beat us in the Eurovision. Nothing will make me happier.

If my previous post made no sense, it's because here's no TV. I have a radio, but don't have it on.
I just talked on the phone. The Eurovision Song Contest came up. Apparently it was yesterday! A nuclear war could have boken out and I wouldn't know. This is uncanny.

If you're into vocal 'music', then an album worth listening to is Bobby McFerrin's Circle Songs. No lyrics, just twelve people making 'music' from vocal sounds. I was given the album as a wedding present by a Nigerian chap I used to deal with at work.
From the inlay card:
Recorded with a group of twelve singers - three basses, three tenors, three altos and three sopranos - these eight original songs spring from sounds improvised on the spot. The rhythmic repetition of the sounds is what give the songs their circular shape and chantlike structure. "It's primal, unadorned singing," explains McFerrin, adding that songs without words are a form he especialy cherishes. "I've always felt that singing a song without words makes one song a thousand songs because the people who hear it can bring their own stories to it."
