Nylon standoffs

Can it be done better? If the answer is yes then make it better. Cheap is very often the enemy of better.
I tried to learn to design a simple cap mounting board and became frustrated trying to learn about layers and traces vs ground planes and board thickness. Then how to order the holes through plated etc. What you guys think is so easy is not for a novice. I can manage to order boards designed by someone else but you guys are fooling yourselves if you think designing that board is anything but challenging. Looking for a nylon adhesive is not looking for a cludge IMO.
Hi. I AM a KiCAD novice. So it can be done. See it as a challenge and learn new things everyday. Allow errors but not make them again. If the intention is to make nice stuff a lot is possible.

I ignore a lot of functionality and draw like I do when I use a pen. Never autorouting, no schematic, no netlist, no BOM etc. Very novice but ... the boards are OK.
