I don't have an NS10 schematic on me, but I can recreate the
essentials from memory - when I get some time.
OK,Master ;
just take your time - and do it just for fun.
I'm not desperate regarding NS-10,I'm just curious in (anticipated ) elegancy........
hehe-if my English is good enough to anybody know what I mean.....

In picture in post #10, it is stated this preamp is non-feedback type.
Q1 and Q2 are bipolars, Q2 doesn't have RE degeneration, so the gain must be big.
R1 and R3 is forming feedback divider/gain factor. So, this CCT is feedback, not non-feedback.
Am I wrong here?

nope ; you're right

ultra class A and non feedback are most used tools in creating super fine audio fog
:cool:
that's why we have Master here- to jump above all this mumbo jumbo stories and to have opportunity to look in "real life " circuits

Did Mr Besné design the Threshold logo?

He did.

The non-feedback portion of the circuit was the moving coil
gain stage. The ultra-class-a referred to the much higher than
usual bias found on the transistors, particularly the input stage.
