The ring is clear somethingororther with a fine mesh/gauze stretched across...........I would guess.
If I am right wouldn't the logo effect imaging as it would be acoustically solid(ish) when compared to the clost of the grill?

Aha, they're out at last.
These would appear to be the Mark Audio Nunn speakers which Ted Jordan and MA have been developing. The driver is a JX92S and the cabinets are black acrylic. I heard these at Ted's last summer and they were already sounding good (especially with BSC).
Have a look at the MA site at www.markaudio.com
The other one I was fortunate enough to hear was the Monk design. This has serious bass, to around 40Hz and sounds very solid.
PS Not sure what the grill is - when I heard them they were unadorned (and still at the protype stage).

The monk 2 seems to be very powerfull. Really good stuff. Especially with the Jordan JX92S.
Yes you have found them.
Dave the Jordan drivers are correct.
We are reworking the network to more what we feel works best.
The covers magnet hold on to the screws that mount the drivers.
Pick up the speakers and stands they are sold as a book shelf (no stand attached) or with the stands.
They will come as shown in the photo as well as the bookshelf.
We will be doing some work to them the demo pair does have about 30-40 hrs on them so they are now safe to tweek.
These look the way they show.Unreal.
