Ploooooooooooot

Far more easy to burn a templar or a witch but same principle : you must start (from Dijon) from a little starter like in a BBQ because you need air around to feed the flames of a tiny flames starter. Question of scale as you saw after the roof had no prolem to burn (after it was started.) As you can see in a fireplace, oak is slow to start burning and needs help.

Imo it started from dust or maybe from old sawdust in an area or a short near plastic covers which was near of a cigarett and some chemical retardant by chance because a worker pissed some spanish wine before... which is very flamable not only for the stomach... or a drone maybe...or a Yellow Vest... or the organ player himself...or the Queen to give more time to Theresa... or certainly because it's the best theory: one of the GoT drunked dragon who believed the lead roof was a throne....😱

Interesting that the cross at the rear of the cathedral main part was at some moment exchanged for the 8-pointed 'apex' (reference to Le point zéro des routes de France mark at the opposite/front side of the cathedral)

Sadly in France year 2017 official statistic say 878 different " accidents ".
Some exotic guy of " peace " destructed two month ago old vitreux windows and orgue etc.
in Basilic Saint Denis the King of France place.
Reality is less humoristic and mysterious.

Basilica of St. Denis is the epitome of Abbot Suger -- the light streaming through the windows had deep meaning, still does.

That part of Paris is not my favorite, last time I was there 1999.

Does that alarm sound familiar? Bagpipe maybe...
15 millions visitors from all the world in 2018!
Cathedral was full of people's on ceremony.
First sound like strange huge noise (explosion?) say woman who was at Notre Dame the evening mass , then alarm siren start.
The security workers can't ignore this and don't verify all potential fire area.
Not with hundreds peoples inside....again no smoke smell , hot air....nothing....
Restoration workers was all outside and build metal structure with hammers and wrenches,
electricity wires was 7 meters of distance from the outside walls.
Its very strict and highly controled area.
