Recovery continues but it is likely Dave will be out of action for some time yet. According to the Mrs. the Doctors are pleased with his progress.

Latest update:
Dave is awake and talking. He wants to get back into the swing of things but they are holding him back for his recovery. I get the feeling he has a little extra inner strength that is allowing him to return to normal faster than maybe someone else.
I am very pleased to be able to bring you guys only good news so far.
