Not sure if i have brought the right projection lens, can anyone help?

i purchased the optics set from www.exclusiv-online.com which has a projection lens with the following specifications:

285-330 mm. focal length
Light collecting aperture: 50 mm
Projection apperture: 40 mm

Im going to be using a 10inch LCD panel and i just need to know if the size of the lens, i.e. 50mm and 40mm diameter of the optics will be big enough to use on a 10inch LCD panel? (im sure this is a very silly question and im pretty sure the lens is going to be ok)

I just need some reassurance as im bit worried i might have wasted money on the wrong lens. Not got all my parts yet so cant really check if it works

Hi, you say your useing the projection lens from the exclusiv online shop, quick question, on the shop web site it says the following:

Light collecting aperture: 50 mm
Projection apperture: 40 mm

To me, it seems like the light collecting part should be the 40mm end because the 50mm end has the stick to adjust the focal length which you wouldnt want to put inside your case?

am i right or wrong? lol
