Not connecting grids/anode can hurt tube?

Hello folks,

I have a pentode/triode combination tube which runs on low voltages (12V anode). I am only using the triode for now. I didn't connect the grids and anode of the pentode, but since the triode and pentode share the kathode, electroncs are moving in the direction of those pentode grids...

Can this hurt the tube?

Greetings,
