Not Audio, where to find MOT press fit diode?

Please post a photo.

Looks like car alternator diodes, find one in scrap, and do some metal work, usually there are many in one item called a 'diode plate' here, it is used as a 3 phase rectifier in car alternators here (all combine to form a 3 phase rectifier, 6 single diodes IIRC).
Those are press fitted and soldered, a Dremel type unit will be useful.

Alternately, find the assembly in auto parts stores, or on line.

And search using the alternator make and model, the same units are sold to makers of cars, trucks, planes, and so on.

Hint: here the electricians say Japanese are better than Indian, Bosch are slightly better than Chinese, so best avoided.

You might find the same alternator in an auto junk yard, maybe with a different pulley / coupling, just swap it out, some effort in changing might be needed, or swap out the 'diode plate'.

This guy sells parts as well for the diode plates. Will give you a good idea what you need to search for...

No ties, there are many makers of these in India..
