Yes, no changes for my voltage gain needsIs the D1 able to work well as per the schematic with the TDA1541 without any changes?
How about the dc trimming for the TDA1541? Are you able to trim down to a steady low level?
I'm trimming offset. How much time the D1 circuit needs to stabilise?
in temp equilibrium
are you able to set TDA output to stable 0mV?
as far my peanut brain is working these days, in conjunction with D1, TDA shoukd get missing mA or so, from D1 input node
Nope, Nico, too healt issues...two years 😈
Thanks, ZM, I tried for 10 minutes but offset was always increasingin temp equilibrium

found this ,can Helps ?how much?
"So the offset current at no input signal has to be compensated for by an additional CCS.
The document for the Pedja Rogic IV shows how it may be implemented (Fig.1).

i.e. an adjustable CCS using a single JFET has to be placed at the DAC current output, and adjusted until IV output is zero with no signal.
What is not certain, is how stable that DC offset remains.
This in turns depends on the particular DAC, the stability of the JFET CCS, as well as the IV circuit itself."
Congrats on the build! I recently built a tda1541a Dac (Zen IV) and definitely agree it’s delicious! Will have to try D1 IV sometime.
Hard choice between tda and PCM63, but tda has that bit of midrange/vocal magic that I like.

Those are the lower rated version (most THD), but I can’t verify if there’s much difference subjectively. What’s the price?
Here's a useful link on tda1541a grading: https://www.dutchaudioclassics.nl/Philips-TDA1541/#tda1541-grading

It's at diyhifisupply.com
At that price it is worth it. It should be genuine whereas the ones on ebay are questionable.
Even useful as a spare if you already have a higher grade chip.
