bet You don`t always do what is "recommended" - or why don`t You use 3-pin voltage regulators as it can be seen in 95% of audio equipment?

I like the Mundorfs, also they are really not cheap. And they have 1% tolerance. Not so important as coupling cap but very much more in filter applications.

Christoph's caps measure so well, I would be surprised if Mundorf is any better in terms of measurements. I can't comment on the sound.

The Mundorfs measure much better. They are especially designed for audio applications. For example

tan d: 0.0001 @ 10kHz
tolerance +/- 1% typ. +/-2% max.

And of course they are more expensive. But they are worth every penny

If either the original poster or one of the buyers wants to part with some, I need 4 x 900v. Anything 1.5uf or more would be ideal for my current amp project.
