Hello! I very glad to have found this awesome site!! A few questions... I made my projector from a 3m 9800 (6000 lumen) OHP and samsung 15' LCD. I got it up and running, but my bulb life was only about 5 to 6 hours. I found a switch down inside the overhead that changes voltage from 36 volts (my bulbs are 36v EVD's) to 39 volts, of course it was on the 39 volt setting, hopefully that takes care of my bulb problem. Is it correct to remove the fresnal lens (the glass the panel sits on I think)?? Also, what is the best unit to output video/TV to my LCD panel (XVGA)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Great Site!!

You need the fresnal lens. Dont remove it. And if you're planning on just watching TV or Playing DVDs the best way to go is with a TV Tuner PCI video card... if it's for console gaming, you need something else because the card brings lag - untolerable for even a casual gamer.
