And for all that time you were thinking you got abducted by Aliens in the Flying Saucer when you woke up without them the next Sunday morning! 😀Found some socks and underware in a speaker I build 50 years ago.
I have just turned my Sony E44 junkshop speakers into pure Gold!
Maybe they need more socks, though... 😕

The tweeter is too far away and Diana Krall sitting besides the reflex port ? I am loosing my ability to poetry.
Cheers, Joachim. World-class advice for nothing! 😎
I can't remember what size the Isophon KK8 and KK10 tweeters were, but the right shape. That's a Dalesford 8" bass in the MS Pageant, so out of luck.
Monacor seem to be the best resort for odd shape repair tweeters:

To me, a good old box is just waiting for some new drive units. Can't be hard to find a 6" bass that you can fit in. There's a measurement called PCD that tells you the mounting hole diameter. Might be something that fits here:

Crossovers? Nothing. Joachim can knock one up in minutes! 😀
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

If you like the boxes, and they do look good, I think you should do some measuring and see if any of those Monacor drivers will fit. 12-15L should be OK for most 6" drivers. Nothing stopping you fitting a reflex tube if you want more bass. They really aren't very critical in length and diameter. Just go under if in doubt.
This is a Chartwell LS6 in current manufacture. 6" polycone and what looks like a huge Audax TWO34 1.5" tweeter. Easy enough to design around:
Dump the old crossover or just reuse the printed circuit board, and get a new connector plate for the speaker plugs.
Connectors
Plenty of downloadable projects for Visaton Boxsim here:

Seen one 6" woofer, you've seen them all, IMO! 😀

Hi all,
than you very much for all your comments and suggestions - indeed, I plan to restore the "system" using new tweeters and new crossover. If I am finished in this epoch I will let you know 🙂))
I have also received a comment from Fred Buist from Audiofriends - he suggests that SR-code (printed on the rubber sorrounds) is from Kurt Müller, a German company and that the surround seems to be original, not repaired. He also suggested that it may be a Grundig design.
