Hi,
could it be possible to fully eliminate the HF by using two DACs and delaying the data of one of them so that the HF signals @ DAC output are out of phase and kill each other when signals are added ?
Greetings, Bernhard

This would be actually a two times oversampling simple interpolated DAC if you just sum the current outputs.
Cambridge Audio and Sony (among others) used this in the eighties.

Not quite, at least in the case of Cambridge. The 2x oversampling was preceded by 4x oversampling.
ray.
