Hi I have a Cambridge Audio Azure r551. Had it five years and been great amp . Suddenly it's started making my speakers crackle for five mins or so the diminished to nothing noise not sound. If I don't turn amp off its fine. But every time I turn on I get this problem. I want to sell it to buy a Cyrus One hd .

I would go along with a bad joint in the first instance. Although it could be anywhere, first suspects would be such things as 3 pin voltage regulators... parts that either run hot or that are mechanically secured to the chassis and so subject to minute stresses caused by expansion and contraction.
They typically look like this. Notice how the solder is cracked in a ring around the pin.
