Hi,
I've been designing my own silver interconnects but I was wondering about ferrite noise suppressors. My questions is quite simple! All I need to know is how many noise suppressers do you need on each interconnect and where would I place them along the length of the interconnect?
Thanks in advance.

None.
Thats a nice simple answer, care to explain your reasoning??
Ferrite Placement
Assuming that there was an advantage to putting Ferrite Beads on Audio interconnect...
You would put 1 bead close to each end, not more than 15cm from the end.
...hey it won't make the signal worse.

Ferrite beads are sometimes used at the input of high gain amps (microphone or measurment amps). Placed as close as is possible to the amplifier input. If you are in a very strong AM field (next door to a radio station) you may need them on the output of a (poorly designed) power amp. E
