In my other thread, Jasonhanjk claimed that the source of the hissing noise was a ground loop; I also tried Jason's solution, and the noise was completely eliminated. But connecting the QCC to the TPA3110 brought the hiss back, and this time it was louder.
Sorry, but I am unable to make any other suggestions other than to say you will always hear some hiss if you place your ear up close to the speaker.
