I live in Trinidad and tobago.......can any body tell me how i can get sonotubes down here...where to look pleaaaaaaaaaaase
I suggest you go through the Yellow Pages or it's Trinidad equivalent and find companies that work with cement construction. That is what Sonotubes were originally made for. You might also ask about Plastic piping in 8" or higher sizes.
If they are friendly, they might direct you to a construction site or two and tell you to pick up what you want from the scrap on the job.

You might try "Tubular concrete forms made of paper" when asking about them.
I think you might want to think less about concrete manufacturers and more about contractors who actually work with concrete. Heavy construction guys. They have to be using them, or something like them.

The most common use of sonotubes is to build round supports for bridges, piers, etc.
They simply pour them full of concrete till it sets up and they have a round concrete support. Frequently they are larger in diameter than we might use for audio.
Possibly "shelby tubes" is just another name or brand if that is what they use them for.
So a " heavy" or " industrial" contractor that deals in bridge construction or similar large projects is likely to be able to point you in the right direction.
If they don't have Sonotubes, they very likely have something very similar. I would expect that you will be able to find something, although it may be difficult to get smaller diameter tubes around 10" or so.
