Have a Peavey XR696F PA amp/mixer. Pops speakers when I power up shows signal going in on meters but no output. I have checked the boards for any obvious signs of issues but nothing. Fuses are all good. Have tested caps and rectifiers. Tested all the left channel output transistors all test good. Havent tested right channel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
If both channels are bad, the odds are with the power supply or control circuits.
Do you have a schematic?
Lots of possibilities for incorrect settings or connections here, are you double sure you have everything hooked up and set correctly to get a signal to the amp modules?
The power amp input jacks on the front panel are probably switching and would permanently disconnect the amp modules if they were somehow stuck.
