Well, the guy I think is considering himself as a guru audiophile or whatever. I was just curious to see is there's any known concept behind it. Drivers being positioned about 18 inches from a hard back wall don't exactly qualify for a dipole idea either. I am going to try to find out if there's any active equalization involved.

TBH If I'm right (old hand at televisions) that's a late 90's Toshiba.
Quite a nice set for it's time... This feller could indeed take his home entertainment seriously.
But I'd be curious to see math and theory behind his arrangement. Any progress Carpenter?
