For the last three days or so I have been unable to access diyAudio using Firefox 39.0. I get a never-ending 'in progress' indication.
Meanwhile, Safari and Chrome work fine—it's just I am in the habit of using Firefox. Am I alone with this problem?

I'm not having a problem with Firefox 39.0.
Uninstall it and re-install it. That usually fixes problems with Firefox.

strange indeed, as I'm presently logged on with that same latest updated version, OS= W7
I do sometimes get an annoying pop up all black screen with "close ad" in top left corner. Once that's clicked, it appears to be back to normal. Is that something about which I should be worried?

I cleared cookies and cache and re-started Firefox in safe mode and the problem solved itself. Thanks.

Well, you shouldn't be seeing it, so it might be... unless it's a bug with FF39 and everyone is getting that. Running any non standard plugins?
