I recently picked up a Nikko Alpha 450 which I'm very impressed with so far. The problem I'm having is that either one channel's running a little cool or a little warm depending on the biasing. When I removed the bottom panel there are three variable resistors. I'm assuming that one is for bias, one for DC offset and one for maybe the output meter calibration. My question is can anyone tell me which is for bias and DC offset. Also, where are the test points for bias (the emitter resistors are near impossible to get at so I'm thinking there must be a test point. Finally, what should the bias at idle be set to. The Alpha 440 should be set at about 18mv, but I'd rather have the spec for the 450 specifically. Thanks so much in advance!
