Has anyone seen the new Nichicon KA caps at Mouser? Right off the bat I noticed rated at 105C. Someone got a scoop on these babies?

I got them now and will use them in the Richard Marsh headphone amp. I should post a pic for everyone. They have a nice blue-gray color to them. (not that the wrapping means anything!) 😉
ok SO, I have them in my tubelab SE 300b, Thus far they seem to be quite reasonable however the amp is still breaking in. I also wonder if where I have used them really colours the sound all that much. ie Cathode of a 5842 to ground.

I am using them close to the output transistors. I'm wiring them from power rails to ground. I also have some Muse caps and will try them to see if I really discern some difference at all.
If you need a higher voltage, I've used these with great results.

They have high dissipation factor, even compared to standard (non "low ESR") caps.
Here are some readings on an Agilent LCR meter. Three columns: frequency, capacitance, dissipation factor.
Nichicon KA 47uF/35V:
100Hz 43.41uF 0.094
120Hz 43.00uF 0.102
1kHz 39.88uF 0.408
10kHz 31.71uF 2.790
Panasonic FR 47uF/25V:
100Hz 46.23uF 0.021
120Hz 46.07uF 0.023
1kHz 44.38uF 0.071
10kHz 43.34uF 0.400
Panasonic SU bipolar 47uF/25V:
100Hz 45.77uF 0.047
120Hz 45.50uF 0.049
1kHz 45.53uF 0.153
10kHz 42.38uF 1.230
Decon SAII (general purpose 85C chinese brand cap):
100Hz 43.80uF 0.100
120Hz 43.29uF 0.106

All these capacitors were tested in a Behringer DEQ2496 in the analog output stage (signal path, interstage DC blocking). Here are my 100% subjective impressions:
The original caps (Decon) sounded good. The Panasonic SU sounded even better ("cleaner" with more detail but similar tonal balance; slighlty more in-the-room / better presence of midrange/vocals). Panasonic FR changed tonal balance (matching other descriptions of it in this forum: heavier midbass, some treble sparkle, but something missing in the vocal range, making the sound laid back with 2D stage; pretty much like you would dial a "smiley" curve on the egalizer). The KA changed tonal balance too (again matching other descriptions here of audio Nichi caps: "monster bass", recessed midbass giving a "dry" overall sound, jazzy very lively "in the room" mids/vocals, yet treble could be better).
For the DEQ2496 I stayed with the Panasonic SU. Other equipment may give different subjective results so it's up to you to test.
