Have an early '90s NHT SW2 / MA-1 combination. Something in the MA-1 amp has let its smoke out, and it no longer performs (keeps blowing the input fuse). This all started with a thunderstorm and lightening strike. Afterward, the amp would turn on, but within a few seconds, it pops the main power fuse. Consequently, here are my options:
Thanks for your help!

This all started with a thunderstorm and lightening strike. Afterward, the amp would turn on, but within a few seconds, it pops the main power fuse. Consequently, here are my options:
- Trash the MA-1 and add an integral amp (plate?) to the SW2, converting it over to a powered sub.
- Replace the MA-1 with a suitable substitute.
- Have the MA-1 repaired (not sure where to have that done).
- Repair the MA-1 myself (I have the capability but not sure if I have the time) by selectively replacing components (can get MA-1 schematic).
Thanks for your help!
