Next stage.. the screen!

Ok, I've decided to build my screen of a shower curtain. At 3$ CND, didn't cost me alot.

But I want to make it portable, so I need some idea on how I could manage to make it so. To make it portable, I can't use a frame. My mom said I could just use the ring in the curtain to pass a fishing wire. But this way I won't be able to stretch the curtain to get rid of the folds.

An other one said I could put some velcro on it. But I need to place velcro on a wall or anything else to get it stick.

Any ideas?!

Edit: and are the folds on the shower curtain visible when you project on it?

Make a detachable frame. 4 rods and 2 pieces of wire... When you want to put up the screen just pop out the shower curtain and 4 rods out of a bag, unroll the curtain, put the rods together into a square and stretch shower curtain over the rods. The wire is to give the square stiffness...Just attach each piece of wire by opposite corners so you have an X.
This should give vertical and horizontal strength to the square.

Of course you also need some kind of fastener for the ends of the rods so you can stick them together.

I used a window shade and I think it works better than the blackout cloth. I found a more expensive window shade that was matte not the shiny cheaper ones. I see less screen door affect than on the blackout cloth. I got the biggest one 73" wide for $40 at home depot.
You can surely mount it anywhere and retract it when not in use. Only downside is the material is not that heavy and if you leave it free it wont stay flat so I taped it. With the shower curtain its cheaper but I don think you can get the folds out.

definately, I agree with the window shade method. I ordered samples of cloth, and in my opinion...the window shade picked up color much better than all of the cloths i tested....the only comparable was canvas....which still wasn't up to par....i would highly recommend a window shade...it's affordable, and produces a nice result (and rolls up when you're not using it)

My screen is almost over. I bought some 12'*3" pine wood pieces ( very cheap, 4$ for 6 ) and I build a frame with it. 98" x 73", and each piece of wood is cut in half. I just bolt the 2 pieces with a metal plate in the center. I put Velcro all around the frame and on my shower curtain. So when I want to move it.. I un-bolt all the metal plates, detatch the curtain and put everything in a bag. Now I just need to find a way to place it on a wall or something without plutting screws in the wall.
