Filippo,
Can you tell us a bit more about this creature -- the Italian doesn't machine translate too well into English.

Ok, but maybe my english is worst than babelfish
The project start from a 2way loudspeaker born for sound reinforcement in ceiling installation. This driver is well known and used also in a Sheraton Hotel Hall and some Karaoke Pub in Japan.
The driver is modified only in the crossover network, originally made with a simple condenser.
The cabinet is a double reflex in series modeled with a freeware software compiled by an italian engineer, that was also designer for Opera Loudspeakers. The system is very cheap: I bought these drivers for 25 euro each and the final cost is around 110 euro. I don't know the price of the driver out of Italy, maybe you can search on the web or demand to a Mackie dealer. Search for PL 81 or L8CX8.
The speaker is now powered by a simple PCL82 SE amplifier and sound good, but when you put in 50 good watts it sound great and looooud.
ciao
