I have a few questions and ideas that need some clearing up. first off I have decided to create a custom box for my projector.
Currently I have a choice between a 5" reactor RM-5A LCD screen. I dont no the resolution on this. I will be able to get for 60-70 dollars, or i can go with a 5.6 inch LCD which has 234*960 resolution for about the same price. The 5" is somewhat widescreen so that draws me to it. The 5.6" has a remote which can allow me to change settings simply. I would like to know which one would be the better buy.
I have also made my self available to the Delta HD 215 lens. Is this the rite lens? Does the LCD have to be right behind the lens or can there be some distance?
What should I go with a fresnel, condensor lens or both?
As far as lighting goes I was thinking of a 400Watt MH 36000 initial lumens planted sideways in the box. This will allow a shorter box. If that is not suitable than maybe a 250watt pointed staight. As you can tell space is one of my concerns because i may have to suspend the projector over my bed.

umm just found out that the 5 incher i was talkin about has 336000 pixels which means res. is 1080*760. could be a lie so id buy the product. let me know wut u think.
Whoever told you that is lying. A panel that size w/ a 1080x760 res (even though there is no such thing, 1024x768 is probably what you meant) is going to cost thousands of dollars. BTW, multiply 1080 x 760. It's not 336,000.
Nope.. didnt get it from Alan.. i dont even know who Alan is. Im fixing to buy it off someone. I just wanted to know if this lens is suitable or not and whats the max I should pay for it?
this is Alan's website, he order multiple lenses and distribute
them among us for cheaper prices, I got a pretty good deal with
him gooing.

That site u gave me was very useful. I decided to go with the triplet lens because I want a high resolution screen and you cant get that with <5" lcd. Im thinking of goin ahead and getting a OHP lcd. they are made for PCs so they can do decent-good resolution. Also they are cheaper. I have one question though.
Can I remove the backlight from a OHP LCD, or is it more complicated than a 5" lcd? What brand and model names are other people using? btw.. i need one that has VIDEO input.
below is what i have in mind:
