Howdy all, was just curious about possible designs for a projector, when a bizarre, yet simple one came to mind. Has anyone tried incorporating a projector with a fullsized PC tower case (and internal PC for TV tuning, DVD playback, and PVR), using a bright white LED panel for light source?
I'm thinking the lens, light and LCD assembly can take up the upper three 5 7/8" bays. It's just hypothetical, but I'm sure with a bit of extra ribbon cabling and creativity, that a projector design like this would work. If the size constraints are too limiting, then maybe a cube server case would be more ideal?
