Just want to make a followup on my findings about Resource allocation on MPD Player in Moode.
In my system their settings have a profound ability to change the sound.
After another couple of evenings listening I ended with this settings which gave a very good sound with Hifiberry Digi2 Pro and my Mark Levinson No. 360S DAC.

Another update.
This time using Allo DigiOne instead of Hifiberry Digi2 Pro.
Still using Moode as OS and standard power supply, and with this combination Bubbleupnp sounds equal or better than Mconnect which wasn't the case with Hifiberry Digi2 Pro where Mconnect was superior to Bubbleupnp.
Overall the sound improved with Allo DigiOne compared to Hifiberry Digi2 Pro, but both solutions are very good indeed.
Bubbleupnp sounds a bit more musical and fleshed out in the midrange while Mconnect is a soundstage master with clearer high end with more transparency. At the expense of a slightly cooler midrange.
I enjoy both very much and are selecting which to use depending on the music.
Regarding the adjustments of the Resource allocation in Moode it have a major impact on the sound quality, and after experimenting for a couple of evenings I ended up with this settings for Allo DigiOne. Same settings for both Bubbleupnp and Mconnect.
S/PDIF out sent to Mark Levinson No. 360S, and the end result is spectacular. Easily outperforming the best CD/SACD players I have owned and owns.
Currectly Linn Akurate CD and T+A Elektroakustik D-10 which both are true high-end players.
Spent some time changing the Audio buffer since lower numbers give a slightly lean sound while higher gives a more dense presentation.
Anything between 32 to 64 MB sounds very good and I probably will use this parameter to fine tune the sound depending on which reproducing source I have, and during these tests I used a Stax headphone rig with SRM-717 or SRM-006t for energizer and SR-207 or SR-009 for earspeaker/headphone.
My conclusion is that changing these Resource allocation parameters in Moode OS is essential to get the best sound from your system.
Any kind of EQ or DSP in Moode is to be avoided. I found that all of them ruined the sound quite much.
