I have 4 way system
Pyle fm tuner
bbe 482 sonic maximzer
behringer fbq 3102
2 beh cx 3400 crossover's
gtd amps 8500,6500,4500,podium vx2000
2 W horn jbl 18" 2241-4ohm
2 altec strat horns 12" jbl 2206-8ohm tunded 60 Hz port 2"x22.5 x 15.3
2 2365a lens, 2446-8drivers
2 selim hm4750 lens , 2426-8 drivers
.Crossover's set 60, 1800, 2.5 k. My room 15x35x8,wood floor, drywall, styerfom cyling tile. Cabinet's are stacked up and corner loaded.
That said , are the low mid tunded to close to " w" horn?

Nobody crosses a W bin at 60hz.. they don't go much below 50hz so you might try moving that up to 100hz even 200hz depending where output from the altec horn starts dropping off. You might try giving the 2446 drivers more to play with too.. raise the top crossover up to around 5khz. And if I were you I'd ditch all those separate components(EQ, crossover, BBE) and get a DCX so you can properly time align and EQ these things.

This system sounds like a real hotch potch configuration that was put together by someone with only half an idea of what he was doing. Set it up as you think it was meant to be and post an image of it. Then someone can help you set the xover points correctly, get the gain structure right and work out if it should be a two way or three way set up. You may well be able to toss out some of the components.

I went 4 way to try and learn delay better . I know it is all old hat, but that's what I billt to learn ! Conanski's suggestion helped the top end i was gettin 105-110 now 113-115 around the room! I'm happy, but not dun building or learning .
