Hey all, newbie here. working on an aca project. i have completed the build and tested. Sounds great! i did not wire the led lights because i want to use the pins to wire in a raspberry pi for an all in one streamer/amplifier.
Can someone help reduce the power from the 24v dc coming from the led pins to 5v dc to power the pi?
thanks all

Welcome to diyAudio 🙂
The only way (well the easy way) to get a 5 volt supply from the 24 volt rail is use a simple 3 terminal regulator like a 7805. One regulator chip and a couple of caps, couldn't be easier 🙂
Remember the regulator will get hot, how hot depends on how much current you draw. If it needs to be bolted to the ACA case/heatsink for cooling then the ACA will hotter still.
