I'm attempt to convolve a 3way system using DRC command line/batch file. I'm using imp_rec to record the impulse files.
I'm sweeping each speaker separately. I have 6 speakers (hi, mid, subs) and six amps (this is in a car). The amps are connected directly to the speakers with no active or passive crossovers, so I have to be careful with the tweeter not to introduce to much low freq content. I've been running this way for years using xover vsts, but I'd like to try convolving.
My question is how to tell DRC that I only want to correct the limited bandwidth of my tweeters.
I've got imp_rec only sweeping the tweeters from 2k-20k, but when I run the file through DRC using erb-44.1, it appears to be correcting sub-2k as well.
Do I need to edit the PSPointsFile to reflect a high freq driver?
