Hi,
I finally found this place and excited.
I discovered a passion to build large Gramophone style horns and have wasted so much time and wood!
All these calculations are way too much for me and I am looking for simple templates.
Since I have had no luck with my gramophone horns I have resorted to other types and have found I just don't have the proper tools.
I also have four 18" subs 2500 watts each from our family theatre we sold and want to build a tall tube or scoop box for one of them.
I really want to build a tall tube enclosure for an 18" sub and for the port holes, have gramophone style horns as the ports
Can anyone point me in the right direction for templates for horns of all types?
I can't locate the "download" section of this site.
Cheers

sorry no one stop shopping 'round here.
and if you want help with the primary portion of your proposed project that will require some math and additional info on your drivers other than wattage rating and size...
ask these guys if they'll share their templates...

Thank's for the info! I really appreciate it. I'm picking up my speakers this weekend and will be able to provide all the info on.

R U talking about exponential ducts 😕Hi,
I really want to build a tall tube enclosure for an 18" sub and for the port holes, have gramophone style horns as the ports
...sort of mixed style idea of diffusion by surfaces, in this case a front horn and a back ( chambered ) horn
...reminds me some CNC related threads about horns.
Or maybe just two robust ducts with flared ends ( that should work better than normal straight ducts due to the Venturi law )
😎
