Hi, I just joined to see if anyone can help me out with this. I have a sub Panasonic model sb-w40 that came with SA-HT40 home theater system. I have replaced sb-w40 with another sub I have for the system and thought maybe I could use the sb-w40 with a receiver I have. This receiver doesn't send out an amplified signal (I guess) since if I hook the sub to it like the other system nothing happens. So, my question is can I power this sb-w40 with a Dayton SA25 plate?
