Yeah, well, I'm not flying from Nova Scotia to France for the seafood! 🙂 In fact I am passing up a big feed of l'homard to go there. (We always share lobsters with some friends on New Years Eve.)

Paris is absolutely gorgeous. Make sure you walk up the stairs in the Arc and see yet another view of beauty.
The Palace of Versaille has to be seen to be believed. I stopped taking photos after the third room of total extravagance; how do tell the difference between one opulence and another. I'm not a gardener and didn't have much interest in the gardens, but wrong again. When you see the "pond" in the distance and think it is small, those one person boats have six to eight people on board. Try lining up the topiary and seeing if there is a leaf out of place? Garden retaining walls in marble?

Notice you can come with your Homard in the plane as far as it doesn't look like a chocolate box you may forgett in the toiletts !
Can ask to the pilot to tied the homar outside the cockpit. But it's ok in the hand-bag as it doesn't ring at the checking doors !
Canadian homards should have the luck to visite Paris and french cusin schrimps ! But beware of the vieille moules near La Madeleine !

Back in the old days, taking a para-chute to the toilet in France might not have been a bad idea.
I will confess: Paris is my least favorite city in France. My idea of a great time there is to go to the train station and grab the TGV to Lyon.

Je vais tojour vers Vienne. And I love love love Vienne. The Roman stuff there is marvelous, and I'm meters from the greatest wine region in France.
I even know that folks in Paris keep yesterday's old coffee in a sauce pan in the fridge, to reheat in the morning. Prêt à Chuter !

oh no, it's not possible! french like italians love coffe ! with a difference : italians know how to make a good coffe in a bar... rare in France: loterie !
