I believe that is on the Burning Amp agenda. The F6 will still fit
in a regular FW chassis, and I'm planning on building maybe 10 of
those.
😎
Just wondering. You had mentioned in the F2 clone thread about a new version with 1/5th the distortion than orig. I'm going straight to spiffy F2-lite to drive FE127e. I just solder stuff and it makes music, so my preference is for "awesome", whatever that entails...
DIY F6 choice
I would echo an improved version of F2 as a candidate for F6. The concept of transconductance amplifier deserve more DIY attention. I really like the sound of my F2 and would love to see improvements.

No, I would vote for the next generation of F3 as it was promised previously. Pitty that the chassis size can cause definite limitations for the Super Power jFET amp.
my and my friend votes goes to mory powerful variations of f3/f5 in SuSY/balanced versions. I believe we will have soon two diferent brand names- F1 (first watt) and F100(first hundred wats) 😀
F1-5 is like Nelsons babies, while F6-8 will be litle grown up teenagers 🙂b
and seriuosly we will wait implemetations with impatience 🙂

Just my dream: FirstWatt F6 Super Power jFET amp in monoblock version, chassis are standard FirstWatt.
I vote for something that is "As Class A As It Gets" with intense control of the speaker even if it only gives me 5 watts of power.

How about something completely different?
I was paper developing something I code named Fe. 🙂
All Balanced push pull.
Input transformer phase splitter.
Jfet input. No feedback.
Output on 240:120V Toroidal, driven by source followers.
F3 power supply arrangement.

(thinking aloud) ..... I am wishing for higher power SS SET based on JFET technology with output transformer that our papa Oracle mentioned somewhere in his notes(hopefully it has its technical/ Musically superiority). 😎
Anything, as long as it is even incrementally better than the F5, sonically.
But then I haven't yet built the F5, only for want of the P-channel FET
