Hello,
I am new to DIY and would like to introduce myself. Currently I am an employed as an engineer and design oceanographic instruments and ROV systems. In a previous life, back in the 80’s I used to run a hi-end audio shop.
I have decided to stick my nose back into audio by looking for a DIY class-a amp project. I would like some input in sorting out the mass of different information on-line. I am looking to build a 20-40 watt class-a amp that is not too way over-the-top inefficient. I have owned big class-a in the past and would like to be a little kinder in the way of green house gas emissions.
Please suggest a design, point me in a direction or a forum so that I may be inspired to undertake a project. Solid state please.
Thanks
