Showing underside of heatsink. Only two LM3875 chips in final version. Two 1875 chips with true 1000uF per rail to be tried externally. 40000uF as is. The unit has jack for secondary AC out so I can play around.

Hey Greg, congratulations.

Very nice box indeed.
It's different, you didn't put a blue led and a frontal power switch.
And that makes it different, clean looking and s'beautiful.:bawling:
BTW, I hope you changed the location of the caps to sit between the LM3875 chips.
Oh, and caps glued to the heatsink makes them :hot: .

thnx

The kits were only the powersupply boards...diodes and caps only.. Yes there are PCBs in those powersuppy kits. The amp ccts are pure DIY. The heatsinks do not even warm up as they are so large as to be overkill so if I had glued my caps to them there would be no problem but I don't remember gluing my caps to the heatsink...perhaps the lousy photo makes it look that way. 😉
I would be honored to be in the gallery of clones.
Greg
