Thanks Johnr66, this driver and the amp are great and the sealed box really sounds amazing.
It has been 6 months since I first started comparing drivers and amps, studying and making calculations on paper and comparing them to some softwares. It's been a long journey but it was worth each and every step along the way, well worth the wait...
Oh and this is my number one, my very first construction of the box and veneer and everything, the speakers you can see behind they are my design but back then I didn't have the proper tools... It's really not bad for unexperienced fellow!

Did you make the spike's yourself?
From the looks on the latest picture, I see there can be a grill in front, can you post a picture with it attached?
It's good to see a simple closed box can have a good low end for home theater.
Are you planning on listening to a few low sine-waves to know how low it really go's in your listening position, maybe even a simple measurement?

The spikes were bought and not home made, gold plated from Visaton. All the front/rear left/right speakers have the exact same type of spikes. I thought on making them but the idea died very quickly.
The grill I idealized isn't the most pleasant to the eyes, It's a round one but it's to thick for my liking I'm going to do another one but this time more to my liking. Maybe next week I'll post the picture of the new grill!

You're right Bart when I was making it I searched for prices but the tip for my router costs 60€ and for only one application I don't want to spent so much money for now.
I'm going to talk with a friend of mine to see if he has one he can borrow... and the new grill design is going to be very different!

I bought a couple of these on ebay for just that job. Cheap enough for a single use.
