Why would this be a joke? If you had never used a stereo condenser mic, you do not know the sound qualities you are missing. The components used is the same as the $50-$80 Sony mics.
Yes, I am not doubting the quality, but why can't I but the components myself, and make one? 🙂 I don't wanne be rude, so please don't take this the wrong way...
Well this is perfect for those who do not have the skills or tools to make one. When you buy these parts, you are not just buying the amount you need to make one, you have to buy in quantities...so therefore it's a waste of money. If you add the cost to make one, plus the shipping and handling to order some of these parts, you end up paying more than the cost of my mic. This is a forum for selling stuff and it's also a forum of Do it yourself...so that's why I thought it be perfect to place my ad here. Besides, I'm paying the shipping cost for these mics anyway.
