That's how we know it's not radio interference. I have never heard foreign languages, singing or public service announcements on the radio before. Soon the spirits will be relaying traffic and weather from beyond the grave.

VERY dangerous stuff to play with
Despite being a technically orientated person who likes numbers and hard facts (and doesn't believe in magic power cords etc 😉 ) I think that not necessarily all of these voices are intecepted radio transmissions, but may well in fact be voices from the spirit realm. We have in ascending order of complexity, plants, then animals, then humans. Does it stop there? Are we the highest there is? I am always amazed that scientists and others are so keen by way of their SETI projects etc to find higher forms of life "out there" but only if it meets their criteria of "little green men in silvery suits". Something else that is alive but does not require a flesh and blood body like we do is not acceptable to many. It's a case of 'I cannot conceive such a thing, therefore it cannot exist. The whole Universe is limited the horizons of my/our current understanding.' In this scientific and technologically advanced age it is currently not fashionable to believe spirits exists, but is fashion a reliable guide to what is right? Several hundred years ago the concept of radio communications would have seemed just as absurd to an ordinary person. But what we *think* has no bearing on what is actually so, whatever the subject.
I do not think for a moment that the voices heard by those researchers are in fact of dead people; they are in fact dead and gone, not turned into spirits. Rather, I think they are the voices of obscenely malevolent superhuman spirit creatures, simply baiting individuals into their influence. Their large scale influence extends earthwide, in the three major arms of Big Business, Politics, and Religion. Examine closely, and you will see that these three have a common thread in their attitude toward ordinary people.
The spirit realm is not something to be dabbled in like some kind of parlour game. It is exceedingly dangerous . Keep well away.

I can remember one phenomena from those "tape" times...
The music started a split (or a half?) second before it started...
I mean, you could hear a faint "ghost" start, before it really started.
And I think it was because of **** elecronics & PSU in the tape-decks that made music influence the erase-head.

No, it was caused by magnetic "print-through" (I suppose there
is a term for this) between two tape layers on the spools. The

I mean it would be like a DIYer with all the tools time and parts they could ever use. Everything would look like Peter Daniel built it, its just too wierd. Well that might work out well so I now think it would be more like a cross between a car salesman a telemarketer and a TV wrestler.

What is the purpose of the shielding if you stick out a antenna?.
It looks like my very first project: a crystal radio receiver with a sensitive earphone. Had a lot of fun at the age of 13!

Indeed the link I gave I think reinforces what you are saying perhaps.
I am still open minded to the so named occult subjects, but I do feel that there is a truckload of charletanism involved for differing reasons. (financial and greed mostly).
I did get to spent a good amount of time about 10 years ago with an old but very fit, able and sharp as a tack (75yo) fellow who taught me a whole heap of things regarding dowsing (divining) and various other so called psychic senses.
We also spoke of things like belief sytems and astral travelling.
I moved and so lost contact, and did not get to understand the term astral travelling, but he did give the advice that there is nothing out there to be afraid of, and nothing to harm you.
There is a good amount of human experience that current physics/chemistry/biology does not measure nor explain, and indeed the sciences do not explain everything.

Well, suposedly because the only part of the circuit that should be picking signals (noise, radio or whatever) should be the antenna itself 🙂 I beleive that'd pick up mainly a lot of white noise, so if any "voice" or external signal was caught it should be quite easy to detect.
